Description A very attractive setting of verses from Psalm 104, scored for SATB, contralto soloist, and organ. Similar in sound and style to some of Leo Sowerby's best choral music, this piece has an organ accompaniment on three staves. A striking a capella passage brings the work to an effective conclusion.

Anthem text
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will praise my God while I have my being.
May these words of mine please him;
I will rejoice in the Lord.
Let sinners be consumed out of the earth,
and the wicked be no more.
Bless the Lord O my soul, Hallelujah!
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. Amen.

-Psalm 104:34-37, tr. Book of Common Prayer, 1979
