Text
The mother, the father, the stable, the childbirth,
these are the gate by which you enter.
The Spirit, the flesh, the blood and bone,
these are the door by which you come.
You enter the sheepfold by the gate;
Jesus, into our lives you come,
the shepherd, our Good Shepherd.
The teaching, the healing, the sin, the forgiveness,
these are the gate by which you enter,
the garden, the kiss, the cross, the tomb,
these are the door by which you come.
You enter the sheepfold by the gate.
Jesus, into our lives you come,
the shepherd, our Good Shepherd.
The rising, the greeting, the wounds on your body,
these are the gate by which you enter.
The bread and the wine, the gatherered church,
these are the door by which you come.
You enter the sheepfold by the gate,
Jesus, into our lives you come,
the shepherd, our Good Shepherd.
