Description
Marked "with mystery," this work is scored for oboe with accompaniment from either organ or harpsichord. The primary texture features dialogues between the oboe and an organ solo stop. The music builds to a climax in the middle before returning to the peace of the opening. Suitable for either service or recital.

Review
"a quiet, almost dreamy piece of music. The harmonic language is lush and allows time for the musical ides to speak. The middle section has a few running passages for the oboe, but beyond that the oboe part is not too difficult. The organ part may also be played on harpsichord, omitting the ties to keep the sound sustained." --AAM Journal, July/August 2010
