Reviews
"Selah has published our own William Witherup's An Irish Blessing, written for his choir at Christ Church, Meadville, Pennsylvani. It is a compact (17 measures), gentle choral prayer that belongs in the library of any choir which can tune four parts; when the right occasion for this beauty arrives, there will probably not be time to think of it, order it, and learn it. All the more reason to put it into next year's budget, since it is ideal for any occasion of leave-taking." -AAM Journal, April 1998
Description A very sweet and expressive setting of the traditional Irish benediction "May the road rise to meet you."
Text
May the road rise to meet you,
may the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
until we meet again, may God hold you,
may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Text: Traditional Irish
